Policies
Bonanza King Resort is a non-smoking resort property, including Vaping, E-Cigarettes, Cannabis, etc. We ask that all guests are respectful of our policy and discuss any medical issues with us that require the use of Cannabis.
No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk.
Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult and not left unattended.
Bonanza King Resort has uneven terrain that includes rocks, divots, sticks, and branches. Watch your step while walking.
Bonanza King Resort has wildlife that can be on the property. Be cautious and do not attempt to touch, pet, or engage with any wildlife. Contact a staff member of Bonanza King Resort if you feel there is an issue.
All games and sporting equipment onsite for enjoyment needs to be returned and put away when done using.
Do not attempt to change the sprinklers or sprinkler system. If there is an issue, contact a Bonanza King Resort staff member.
Dogs
Bonanza King is a dog friendly resort. We require all dogs on leashes at all times in outdoor areas.. Dog owners are responsible for their pets at all times. You are required to clean up your dog poop and dispose of it in a designated trash bin. We provide dog bags at the dog stations. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in cabins.
Deposits and Cancellations
Summer Reservations
Summer reservations are by the week only. Summer reservations start mid June and continue to mid August, call for exact dates. A deposit of $200.00 is required to confirm a week-long summer reservation. Cancellations after February 1st, deposits are refundable, minus the $30 office fee, if we are able to rebook the cabin. The balance of the cabin is to be paid in full by April 1st. If making the reservation after April 1, payment is due in full at the time of booking. If there is a cancellation after April 1st and 30 days prior to your reservation, your deposit and balance will be refunded, minus the $30 office fee, if we are able to rebook the cabin or move your reservation to another week within that same year. If there is a cancellation within 30 days of your stay, your deposit and balance will be forfeited.
No refunds or credits for late arrivals, early departures or inclement weather, including rain, snow, forest fire smoke, etc.
Spring and Fall Reservations
Spring and Fall reservations are paid at the time of booking. There is a two night minimum stay required.. If there is a cancellation 30 days prior to the reservation, your balance will be refunded, minus the $30 office fee. If the cancellation is less than 30 days from the reservation, your balance will not be refunded.
No refunds or credits for late arrivals, early departures or inclement weather, including rain, snow, forest fire smoke, etc.
Holiday weekends
Holiday weekends such as Memorial Day and Labor Day require a three night minimum stay. Payment is due in full at the time of booking. If there is a cancellation 30 days prior to the reservation, your balance will be refunded, minus the $30 office fee. If the cancellation is less than 30 days from the reservation, your balance will not be refunded.

Weddings
A non-refundable deposit of half the total event fee is due upon booking of the event. This deposit is applied to the overall balance. A security deposit of $1,000 is due the day of the event booking. The security deposit is fully refundable if all buildings and the property grounds are left as they were before the event, to the satisfaction of Bonanza King Resort. An active credit card is required to be on file if there are any other charges that exceed the $1,000 deposit. The security deposit will be refunded within seven days after the event if there are no issues. Final payment of the event is due 30 days before the event.
Wedding party is allowed access to property at 3:00pm Friday, unless arrangements have been made for an early check in. Wedding party will have access to all the cabins and grounds areas, excluding the owner’s lawn from 3:00 pm Friday to 12:00pm Sunday.
Services provided by Bonanza King Resort include access to cabins, wedding lawn, outdoor event areas, not including owners lawn, guest bathroom, creek area, and parking in the back of the resort. A parking attendant will be provided. Use of the property for engagement photos, scheduled time must be set with Bonanza King Resort. Bonanza King Resort Event Manager will oversee the event, its safety and cleanliness as well as enforce policies.
A one-day insurance policy for $1,000,000 for the weekend of the wedding is required.
$500.00 vomit cleaning fee will be charged per occurrence if Bonanza King Resort visually sees or cleans any vomit.
Retreats
A non-refundable deposit of $2000.00 is required upon booking of the event. The deposit will be applied to the overall balance of the contract. A security deposit of $1,000 is due the day of the event booking. The security deposit is fully refundable if all buildings and the property grounds are left as they were before the event, to the satisfaction of Bonanza King Resort. Final payment is due 30 days prior to the event.
